Forget eggs and cream – you can turn a ripe avocado into chocolate mousse. Honest. Nothing will make you feel more smug than eating avocado for dessert.

What you will need
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3–4 tablespoons cold water
  • a pinch cinnamon
Cooking instructions

Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender. Add the cocoa, honey, water, and cinnamon. Blitz until smooth. Taste and add more cocoa, honey and/or water if needed. Chill and serve with ripe pears or berries.
