What’s happening and why?

Following a full review of the scheme including early lessons learnt from Phase 1 we have identified an opportunity to improve Phase 2.

The main considerations in proposing these changes have been:

  • Accelerating the delivery and maximising the number of new homes in Phase 2
  • Minimising the need for residents to move twice (double decanting)
  • Delivering a greater percentage of the space for the new park by the end of Phase 2
  • Ensuring the construction programme takes full advantage of opportunities offered by developments in the wider area e.g. the potential of a Crossrail station
