Every day, fantastic progress is being made on our construction programme and Ardmore has maintained a steady pace despite having to deal with some of the wettest weather on record.
The main concrete frame for the first block is now well advanced and one of the next major tasks is to start building the new mews houses. Half of the old lock ups have already been taken down and foundation work will be starting soon.
The temporary lock ups for the market traders are all occupied and we have received positive feedback from traders, who are very happy with the larger and more modern facilities. This approach has meant that we can build Block 1 and the mews houses more quickly and efficiently, keeping disruption to a minimum.
Soon our attention will turn to starting the foundations on the next block as all the drainage and services that need to go into the new buildings are linked together. More details on this next exciting stage will be available in the next edition of Here & Now.
