In a world of economic uncertainty and corporate restructuring many people have seen the changing working climate as an opportunity to escape the rat race and be their own boss. I am sure you have heard it said by many people that they want to ‘start their own business.’ But the question is how do you begin? Where do you begin? What do you have to do? How do you get funding or start up costs?
Earlier this year, Pathways 2 Progress (P2P) in conjunction with the Aspire Foundation delivered a six-week start-your-own business course, where our young members gained specialist insight and help in beginning the road to establishing their empire.
Now you can also take advantage from the experience of those who have been there and done it. The Aspire Foundation has kindly offered to deliver a special one-off taster session for Catalyst residents. So if you are interested in being your own boss and starting your own business, then this is truly for you.
The taster course will take place on Thursday 10 May at the annex (blue portacabin) 370 Portobello Road, 6.30pm – 9.00pm. Please contact Patricia Poorman on 020 8964 6433 or Tuggs on 07971 399 776 to book your place.
