At last, a class to satisfy your health, principles and palate all at the same time!

Making the most of the meat we eat and boosting our intake of veg is now more important than ever. Join rising cookery star Rachel De Thample at Books for Cooks on Wednesday 19 October and discover the advantages of a high-welfare, low-impact diet with this new and inspirational way of eating.

In the course, she’ll be cooking some of our favourite recipes from her new book, hailed as ‘The cookbook of our time’ by Mark Bittman of The New York Times.

  • Mushroom Burgers with an Asian Slaw – including a demo on how to make your own mince
  • Jar of Country Paté with homemade oatcakes
  • 100% fruit Italian-style sorbets, in an instant – mango, honey and pistachio and pineapple with vanilla and chilli
  • 15-minute Pea and Pinenut Soup
  • Quick Catalan Chorizo Stew

Join the course and take home imaginative ways with less meat and more veg that’ll persuade even the most hardened carnivore that eating less meat is a good–and delicious–thing.

Rachel de Thample’s ‘Less Meat More Veg’ cookery class runs from 11am -1pm on Wednesday, 19 October. Cost: £40 – includes recipes and a taster of all the dishes cooked.
