Following the recent appointment of housing involvement specialists TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) as the new Independent Tenant Adviser for Wornington Green, we would like to introduce Paul Reeves. His role will involve working with residents to help ensure they play an active role in shaping the development and the estate they live in.
A note from Paul Reeves…
I’ve worked in housing since 1982, for housing associations and councils all over London. I’ve built council and housing association homes, got affordable housing for local people through planning deals, and have worked with residents to get the best deal from their landlords in a spirit of partnership over the last 20-odd years.
I’m passionate about getting people involved, and helping them get the knowledge they need to be able to challenge ideas and to make where they live better. This can be achieved through refurbishment or design of new homes, along with charters of rights to make sure that people who want to return can do so if they want to.
Fun and informative meetings
We will be holding a series of meetings over the coming months to look at various issues, including:
I can promise you the meetings will be fun! Over the coming months I will be joined by various experts who can provide additional advice and support.
Want to join in?
If you’d like to ring me to say you want to come along, please do so between 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday on my mobile (07956 635233). Leave your number and a brief message and I’ll call back. A TPAS helpline will also be in operation from mid-September, on 0800 731 1619.
I’ll also be holding surgeries on the estate which will be publicised soon, so you can drop in and have a chat to me face to face about the programme and give your views in confidence. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and working with you over the year.
Paul Reeves, Independent Tenant Adviser, TPAS
