All properties that have been released for sale in Phase 1 of the new development have been sold. This is great news as the re-development of the estate and re-provision of the affordable rented housing is mainly paid for by selling properties.
Many of the properties were sold during the first year-long phase of marketing which exclusively targeted the local London housing market. The remaining properties were sold during a short but successful campaign launched in March 2013 aimed at buyers in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Town houses in Block 3 and properties in Block 2 will be marketed next year.
