The Residents’ Steering Group (RSG) is made up of local volunteers, who live on the estate who want to make sure that the new Wornington Green is a great place to live for future generations. Through their newly formed committee, the RSG aims to represent the views of all residents living on Wornington Green.
The RSG played a key role on the interview panel for the Phase 2 architects. They jointly, with Cataylst staff, selected Conran & Partners as the architects for Phase 2.
The RSG has now set up a Design Team so that local people can work with Conran & Partners and help shape the design of Phase 2. The membership of the Design Team consists of RSG Committee members and residents from Phase 1 & 2 of the regeneration. Two positions for young people living on the estate are also available.
Design Team meetings will take place once a month until June 2013 and will work with the architects to look at:

The next Residents’ Steering Group meeting will take place on Thursday 4 April, 6pm-8pm at the Venture Centre. Don’t forget to pop in and see us at the ITA surgery from 5pm-6pm, before the main meeting. Catalyst staff will also be on hand to deal with any regeneration, repairs and maintenance issues.
