The Kensington Housing Trust Community Fund is changing. The small grants programme will continue but trustees are also now looking to commission larger projects.
The Community Fund is now known as the Catalyst Gateway Community Fund. It continues to be overseen by a dedicated Kensington committee of Catalyst residents and co-opted members of the community.
A small grants programme will continue but the maximum amount of grant award will be reduced to £2,000. The closing date for the next funding round for small grants will be Friday 16 December.
The Kensington committee also want to commission larger projects in North Kensington that aim to reduce poverty; support collaboration between organisations; and can demonstrate evidence of impact.
Since 2003, the KHT Community Fund has awarded nearly £700,000 in grants to voluntary and community organisations in North Kensington. There is currently £300,000 remaining in the programme to be awarded over the next three years.
